Project Committee

Each CCHRI project is overseen by a Project Committee, facilitated by a committee chairperson. Each project committee is responsible for ensuring that the overall requirements and objectives of the project are achieved. The committees are responsible for making recommendations to both the Reporting Committee and the Executive Committee on all matters relevant to their project. Each committee is made up of volunteers from CCHRI health plans, physician groups and purchasers.

In 2008 CCHRI included the following Project Committees including the following:

• Health Plan Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) Project Committee
• Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Project Committee
• Patient Assessment Survey (PAS) Project Committee
• Provider After-Hours Access Survey Project Committee

Because of the magnitude and innovative nature of the project, the California Physician Performance Initiative has its own Physician Advisory Group, which is accountable to the CCHRI Executive Committee.
