CCHRI Reporting Committee Purposes
The Reporting Committee will provide technical performance measurement and reporting expertise and guidance to the CCHRI Executive Committee.
California Cooperative Healthcare Reporting Initiative Goals
The mission of CCHRI is to collect and report comparable, reliable performance data.
Members of the collaborative work together to:
- Collect and report standardized, reliable health plan and provider performance data. Promote the use of accurate and comparable performance measures. Create efficiency in data collection leading to reduced burden and cost to all participants.
- Provide a source for expert advice to consumer reporting entities.
Reporting Commitee Roles and Responsibilities
Decision making process:
The Reporting Committee will attempt to reach decisions by consensus where possible.
- Where necessary, the Reporting Committee will take a vote on specific decisions.
- Each member has one vote.

The Reporting Committee is charged with the following:
- Provide expertise and recommendations to the CCHRI Executive Committee regarding the following:
- The reporting of all performance measures contained in CCHRI reports in the following areas:
- Health Plan HEDIS and CAHPS
- Physician Organization PAS and After Hours Survey
- Provide recommendations regarding proposed measure sets and methodology, reports and data use.
- Provide recommendations regarding proposed measure sets and methodology, reports and data use.
- Provide guidance regarding the development, content and distribution of CCHRI clinical quality, patient experience, and cost-efficiency measurement reports.
- Ensure adherence to CCHRI Reporting Principles.
- Provide input on issues as requested by the CCHRI Executive Committee.
- Provide input and feedback to any external organization developing reports using CCHRI-reported performance measures, including the Califoria Office of the Patient Advocate.
- Receive and consider feedback from other CCHRI Committees regarding reporting issues.
Reporting Commitee Commitment
Each Reporting Committee member agrees to the following:
- Will represent their stakeholder constituency, not their individual organization in all deliberations and voting.
- Will attend each of the Reporting Committee meetings to be convened as needed.
- If unable to attend a meeting the member will designate an alternative representative from their organization to actively participate and vote on their behalf.
- Will review meeting materials prior to meetings, if the documents are provided to the group at least 24 hours before the meeting.
- Actively participate in meeetings.
Reporting Commitee Representation
Voting members of the Reporting Committee will be composed of the staff from health plans, physician organizations and employer groups: Ex officio (non-voting) members will include representatives from the California Office of the Patient Advocate, Integrated Healthcare Association and other organizations as appropriate.
