Report Card

Measures of health plan performance and member experience

Health plan performance results reported by CCHRI are part of HEDIS 2011 (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set) and CAHPS (Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems), a set of standardized measures developed and maintained by the National Committee for Quality Assurance, (NCQA).

In addition to the default Report Card view of all plans and all measures, you have the capability of creating a custom view of the results by selecting specific plans and/or measure sets and CCHRI and NCQA benchmarks. In addition, you have the capability to identify opportunities for improvement by selecting measures based on:

  • Variation between plans
  • Results that are below a specific threshold
  • Results that are below a specific benchmark

*The Medicare data includes results for two SCAN plans.  The SCAN Legacy plan was previously a demonstration Social HMO and currently has 97% of membership enrolled in an Institutional Living in the Community Special Needs Plan.  The SCAN Classic plan is similar to the other Managed Medicare plans.

Caution
Use caution when comparing results from California health plans not listed in this report with results that do appear here.  CCHRI cannot ensure other data were collected under similar circumstances or that the results can be fairly and uniformly compared.
